(Everyone has had trouble saying “Daniel,” so most of the time they said it as Danielle.)
The next day I had planned a route to take us through all of the most popular Osaka destinations. I had seen most of them, but not all of them. First, I plotted all of the places we wanted (or, rather, I wanted to make sure Dad saw) to see on the map. As seen here.
Then it was easy to plot a route from one place to the next. We saw the famous Glico man,
went to the Sky Garden,
a strange German/ Christmas village had appeared at the base of the Floating Sky Garden building,
the ferris wheel by the aquarium,
and then Osaka’s tower.
On the walk back from the train station to our hotel, we passed some food vendors on the castle grounds. Instead of searching for a restaurant for dinner, Dad decided he wanted to try festival food. We got yakisoba, some 100% beef sausages, and what I can only describe as a crepe filled with fish and topped with some sauce.
Satisfied with the day’s haul, it was time to settle in for another movie.
